Modern Forestry management is looking to thin stands of timber to promote a more vigorous, healthy stands instead of trees all competing for the same limited resources. These thinning techniques tend to be very difficult if not impossible using conventional methods. We want to present an alternative to conventional methods, in order to implement these more progressive treatments, such as Silviculture, on a wider scale in Colorado and Western US.
Daymon Pascual founded Skyline Solutions to address a difficult and dangerous economic, environmental, and public policy challenge: the mountain pine beetle epidemic that has devastated millions of acres of Lodgepole Pine in the inter-mountain west. This epidemic has created a potentially catastrophic wildfire threat that may impact utilities, water resources, recreation areas, businesses, and homeowners. By applying Skyline Solutions timber harvesting, clients will be well-positioned to combat the current threat.
An experienced, avid outdoorsman and entrepreneur, Daymon has a passion for the environment and the experience to manage any operation successfully. With experience in Mountain Rescue and Industrial Rope Access he takes the science of rigging to a whole different level. He has translated his rope access expertise into a 14-year-old company, P4 Services Inc., providing work at height solutions in Colorado. With this experience of running a successful business he has learned what it takes to devise and execute a good business plan.
